Charlotte Curtis is an assistant professor in computing at Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB, Canada. After completing her PhD in signal processing for medical imaging, she worked as a data scientist in the oil and gas industry before returning to academia. She is a sewing enthusiast and a fan of open source software, and her research focus is on developing accessible tools to work with digital sewing patterns.
